Admin overview

Admin manages the people, product access, billing, and domains in your Socra Account. Use it when you need to change who can use a product or administer shared Account resources.

How Admin works

Sign in to Admin and confirm the selected Account. Every collection and change applies to that Account. Your role determines which actions are available.

Admin brings Account administration into one browser interface. The Account, Licensing, Billing, and Domain services own the resources you see and enforce their permissions.

Who does what

Account owners manage invitations, product seats, purchases, and Account settings. Admins can manage permitted directory and group resources. A person's Account role and ownership of a particular resource can affect what they can change; review Account roles and permissions.

You choose the intended change and confirm it. Admin submits that change to the owning service and displays the result. Before removing access or purchasing anything, check the Account and the affected people.

What you can manage

The available pages depend on your Account role. Admin provides these areas:

  • Products: Review available apps, assign product seats, and buy or change product access.
  • Directory: Invite people, manage roles, review agents and installed apps, and organize access through groups.
  • Billing: Manage subscriptions, payment methods, prepaid usage credit, and invoices.
  • Account: Change the Account image, name, or handle. Account owners can delete the Account.
  • Domains: Add internet domains, verify ownership with DNS, and remove unused domains.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose access, Account selection, billing, product access, and domain problems.

Choose an agent identity

Owners can create an Agent in Admin. To connect a runtime you provide, follow Create an agent with its own identity, which provisions an installed app. These are separate identity types.

How Admin relates to Socra services

Learn how Admin composes Socra services. Each service remains responsible for its own resources.

These docs follow the administrator task across the interface. Cloud Project configuration belongs in the developer surface for the service that owns the resource.

Admin, products, and Socra Cloud

Admin manages Account-level resources. Product-specific work happens inside each product. Open Socra Cloud for Project-level APIs, service enablement, IAM, and OAuth configuration.
